Thermal is the clear winner if you have $4k+ to spend. I did not so went digital night vision. Works well enough and have killed two hogs with my wraith so far.

Not true. Pulsar core rxq30 is less than 2k and works great. The Dig nv wont work well in privet hedge or tall grass due to the IR reflecting back on you. I used to hunt some w/ a sightmark photon. Works well in a field w/ short grass. Not well in brush. Thermal is a game changer. Also you might think its crazy to spend 2k on a thermal scope, I think its crazy what people spend on side by sides. I think it just depends on what you value. For me thermals have been well worth it.
