This wasn't even a smart move long-term. This is his second season on the challenge and he had actually formed a pretty good alliance that would carry on through future season. But he thought it was a good idea to possibly piss off everyone and have no one trust him going forward nor protect him? He doesn't have Wes' ability to manipulate people. I think it's going to come back to burn him in the future.

Yeah agreed, I mentioned earlier it’s been clear since Big Brother that he just has zero awareness of how to move strategically.

He was burned by people he thought were allies on that show, so I think ultimately he just wanted to take it into his own hands and get his skull because he was scared he might be getting played again by people that were just using him as their muscle.

He had, at minimum, fifty pounds on Nelson and had to play really dirty to beat him.

Eh I think that was exaggerated. I highly doubt that challenge lasted more than 10-15 seconds. They did the classic Challenge move of showing the same few moments from different angles over and over again in slow motion with dramatic music mixed in to make it look much closer than it was, although Nelson did use his speed well to get to the buzzer and make it close once they disengaged.

The second run was not even close (Nelson saying he gave up because he was just deflated because he though they were friends is lol worthy).

Body slamming is NOT dirty in that challenge imo. Not at all.

And are we just forgetting about Fess fighting CT to a draw on the truck challenge earlier in the episode?

Nelson was on instagram live and talked about a lot of the stuff we didn't see on this episode

Again, Nelson is obviously going to say that stuff after the fact, especially because hes pissed and doesn’t like him anymore. Him saying he was dirty because he kneeled on his hand that was already hurt is just sour grapes. Even if it was intentional by Fess, it easily could have been an accident as they were fricking wrestling for crying out loud, I still don’t see that as dirty really.

Putting dirt in his face might be low, not illegal, but again I don’t think that was necessarily a plan. You’re reaching and grabbing for anything trying to move your opponent backwards and if you happen to get a handful of dirt and then that gets thrown up into his face while you’re searching for something to latch onto I guess that happens.

Yeah TJ said no more dirty stuff but that’s probably because Nelson and his crew spent the break between runs whining about how Fessy was cheating blah blah blah because they knew he was going home and TJ was just throwing them a bone and giving more drama for the episode.

If there was actually illegal shite going on TJ would have stopped it mid challenge which he’s done before.

you're crazy. For one, until Fessy backpacks a guy like Bananas, he will not be as prime CT was. And CT really didn't care for the political side of the challenge and really didn't care who he pissed off or made friends with. And the big difference between Fessy and CT is that CT wasn't scared of going into any elimination like Fessy is. Fessy bitched out big time in the first elimination. He literally only wanted to do hall brawl because he has an almost unfair advantage.

Yeah I agree with all that.

CT was unhinged. Fess while huge and a great athlete, is a pretty laid back and docile guy.

He’ll never have that mental power of fear over others like CT did.

I think that was clear in the truck wrestle. Fess just doesn’t have that rabid dog mentality. On paper he should have been able to take CT physically at this stage in his life, but CT’s mental edge got him the tie.

FWIW Tori and Anessa had Nelson on their podcast. They said Nelson battled and for a while they didn't know who was going to win that first heat and it lasted longer than it appeared. They also said Fessy got really dirty.

Nelson did and Instagram video with Devin also, but I haven't had time to watch it.

This weeks episode seemed to really bring out drama surrounding Fessy...and Tori. Tori addressed rumors about hooking up with Fessy on her podcast and was a guest on another podcast where she talked about her split with Jordan and how she didn't want it...which Jordan followed up later and wasn't happy she spoke publicly about it. Fessy's BB cast mate/ girlfriend then went public about their relationship and she wasn't aware they were done while he was filming the show and that she and Fessy talked on the phone throughout filming. Fessy followed up saying he thought he'd broken up after she got a new apartment for them, but since it was a one bedroom and she decorated it with her stuff, he didn't feel like it was his/ theirs. Fessy will be on the Challenge Mania podcast tomorrow so it should be a pretty entertaining shite show.
