First, all teams are dealing with Covid so I give no credence to that excuse. The roster turnover is only an excuse for losses to the better teams in the conference. What we are seeing in my opinion is 100% due to coaching specifically Pelini. I hope he can turn it around and we can salvage a respectful season. If not I’m sure O will make a change.

CEO said he would hire the best assistants and stand back and watch them do their thing.
1. We lost our DC and (in actuality) our OC
2. We hired a bad DC and the (in title only) OC is calling the shots
3. Lost a lot of starters
So you have a head coach who manages coordinators working with actual poor coordinators with one of them instituting a defensive system completely different than what the current roster was recruited for, with a young team with little experience. Couple with that the NC hangover and Covid you have the result on the field.
My subjective analysis also sees a lack of energy and true leaders on both sides of the ball.
Put it all together and you see what you see with the on field product.
