Inexplicably, southerners have developed an incredible ability to not only survive, but thrive in oppressive heat and humidity. In fact, we frickin’ love it!!! Do you have any idea how much fun regular folk have around here on a hot Friday evening?!?!?! Catch it, boil it, fry it, wash it down and celebrate it. C’mon man!!!!

I made my first visit to State in the middle of July. Drove straight through from the upper Great Lakes. Drove through the heaviest rain I ever saw as I hit the state line. Experienced my first humid AF night when checking in around midnight. Nowhere is better this time of year than Starkvegas.
I went north during the summer until I finished college and then went to Florida. Worst heat I've experienced during my first week living there. Got used to it and hated the cold whenever we visit family. Southern culture >>> NE culture.
