re: Permanently installed LED "Christmas" lights.

I do not own a quad but do have the octa, so my power and cpu have separate power inputs. This board is a little odd because it has 3 power options, but it sounds like one is not working:
1) usb (seems like it worked)
2) dedicated 5/12v in
3) I believe it can sip power off the main in/through (but it sounds like this is not functioning)

Want to try running a +/- to the dedicated 12v in, making sure the jumper is on (removing it tells it to accept 5v power), and see if that works?


And if that doesn’t, plug USB back in. If it comes to life then, then I’d email Quindor. If it does not, it sounds like something got fried between setting wifi and plugging power in.
