Another fun one to research out of the 1950s is "Project Silverbug." What this was was an actual flying saucer they built and flew. I wanna say it was 1952. So only 5 years removed from the Roswell incident the USAF was building their own flying saucer type fuselage craft. All open source. You can find pictures and info on Google.

This is true, but it is still interesting to me to kinda see where the Air Force aeronautical engineers were going with their designs back in the 50s. They were trying to build their own flying saucers while at the same time telling the public anyone who believes in flying saucers is a lunatic.

That’s just what they want you to think! JK.
I find it interesting that Marvel introduces some thing or project Pegasus in their stories, and there’s an actual project Orion.
Art imitating life? Or copying it?

You ever seen the movie Contact? It's one of my all time favorite movies.
Anyways, at the end of the movie Jodie Foster makes a "deep space flight" (interdimensional travel apparently because her craft never actually left Earth) and meets up with an alien posing as her deceased father.
I've often wondered what it would be like dealing with an intelligence greater than our own. For instance, one of the stories that I'm fond of suggests that the big black triangles are our own. And when they do things like they did in Belgium back in the 90's (flying them low and slow over a large city at night) that what they are doing is remote neural linking everyone's sleeping brains together so they can use our brains as an advanced computer to perform deep space flight trajectories.
At first I thought this was nonsensical until I read a report out of MIT (I think it was) where scientists had actually done this in a lab with mice (remote link their brains together).
Now supposedly that tech is homegrown. So what would it be like if we were dealing with an actual ET species who is vastly more intelligent than we are?
Well, they may just decide to use their fancy technology to seed stories about themselves into our popular culture. Things like putting the idea for Star Wars in George Lucas's sleeping brain for instance (not saying this actually happened, just that it's a thought I've long pondered.)

It's because the poster already posted the pictures you asked to see.

Some of us don’t have time to skim through the whole thread so since you did will you please enlighten me? Thanks! This is all
so fascinating! I believe aliens exist and have been visiting us.

Dog crap pics!!!!!
Dude, what's your deal? You came in here demanding someone show us something they had already shown and you call the poster an a-hole in your request. Then you try and play nice by saying you just don't have time to find it yourself but you, "believe in aliens and are genuinely interested," and finally tell the poster his/her pics are "dog crap." It's pretty off putting. Maybe next time either try a little tact, or be willing to search it out yourself?
No pictures are ever going to satisfy the skeptic, btw. Most pictures turn out a lot like the pics in this thread which are of course labeled "dog crap", but imo even if the pictures had been crystal clear pictures of a legitimate flying saucer you would have simply called them fake.
Computer technology has gotten to the point where photographic evidence alone is pretty much useless.
ETA: I personally would like to thank that poster for being willing to post their pictures of what they think is a UFO on a public forum. Imo it takes guts to talk about this stuff openly. People that are willing to talk about it openly are still ridiculed for it even in the day and age where the Defense Department acknowledges they're real. It was even worse a few years back.
I have great respect for those who are willing to face ridicule to speak what they believe to be the truth. It's a hell of a lot harder than going around labelling everyone a nutjob or some other childish shite.

Ok great. The pics are still shite and not worth posting or mentioning what so ever. We’ve all seen pics and vids like that before. A blurry little light filmed from a distance. Don’t waste my fricking time.

Those pics weren’t worthy of mentioning. You came to that persons rescue. Why? Are you in a gay relationship with that person?
