The state has made more than the Bensons rich off of the professional teams. Think about the upgrades to the Superdome, the addition of the Smoothie King Center and costs of construction and consulting.
This state throws more money to bull shite entertainment than to actual necessity. It’s why we will never have nice things in Louisiana.
