Anybody knows of a golf league in south Louisiana looking to add an extra player? I shoot in the upper 80’s to low 90’s. Just looking for a fun competitive league to join.

I live in Metairie so I usually play the westbank courses, some of the northshore courses, Grand Ridge, Riverlands, and Belle Terre. I don’t mind traveling a bit.

Bayou Bogeys. We play mainly in south LA and along the Gulf Coast. Our new season starts in November at LaTour

LINK
That's the link for the membership form. Annual dues are $35 and an extra $10 at each tournament for side games. We maintain club handicaps, so if you don't have a USGA Handicap you can submit 5 scorecards with your registration and they will assign you an index.
The tournaments are just the greens fees plus the extra $10, and usually we get a discounted rate on the greens fees at the courses we play. Usually one tournament per month. Our club championship is at Rock Creek in October, and we do a big Calcutta and the winner usually takes home 3-4K

Yeah I googled bayou bogey and I was able to look at the website. Thanks for the help. I see yall usually start in March so would you suggest to wait for the new season to begin to sign up?

Technically the new season starts in November at LaTour, and then we pick back up in March. As a new member, I believe you have to play in at least four tournaments to qualify for the club championship. I usually pick and choose which ones I'm going to attend once we get the calendar.
This year has been different with COVID and the courses have limited how many people they can accommodate. Lately it's been between 48-60 people per tournament. You can email me at my user name @gmail and I can answer any other questions you might have.

Also interested. Shoot in the range of 80-87. Best scores are 78 (3 times) Do y'all play the same courses every year or switch it up?

This is my first year in the league. Good friends with a guy who's been in for years. It varies some but a lot of repeats year to year from what I've been told. So far this year was:
LaTour, Oak Harbor, The Oaks, Windance, Carter Plantation, Grand Bear, Lakewood, Timberton next weekend, and two days at Rock Creek in October
