Yeah I mean I get that it seems like overkill, he's walking away from the cops.
I wonder why he was stopped in the first place... but if he is definitely armed, the cops can't just let him walk into a convenience store at that point. Tough spot.

It is tough. You can’t just walk into a store with a knife drawn but he was technically walking away. But who cares about scenarios when we can go grab some free shite.
