there was an article in the Advocate (back when it wasn't a left wing rag) interviewing McKinley graduates from when it was the "black" school under segregation.
So many were professionals (doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers) talking about the education they got there.
Thank God whitey and the.Supreme Court saved blacks from that fate
