I got the shanks so bad, I quit playing for a year. Now I am a low 80s player and thats ok because I don't shank any more and I play pain free.

I’m there right now. Have had them pop up from time-to-time over the years, but showed up last October and haven’t been able to shake it. I can screw up a great drive in a heartbeat....have zero confidence in my iron play right now. Did the time off rid you of it or did the light bulb come on. I’m open to suggestions.

I took over 10 lessons from some good Pros here in Houston area and non of the helped me.

After my year off, I decided to hit some range balls and a old driving range Pro saw me and told me to whip the club inside hard.

I hit 2 bags of balls dead straight by taking a hard inside path. It cured my shanks for sure.

The old guys name was Gene and he passed away last year.
