A couple of days ago I saw a post on r/Acadiana. Some guy complaining to the resident progs that you guys wouldn't listen to him.

There was a post on facebook, that made it to twitter then to r/coronaviruslouisiana, of a doctor in Laffy area saying someone died while waiting 8 hours for an ICU bed. Everyone piled on how Laffy hospitals were full and this was just the beginning.

The doctor retracted his statement then said it was news from another doctor friend and that it hadn't happened in Laffy at all. That his hospitals were busy, but not full.

Lafayette has had it rough. Good news is they have a had a decrease in hospitalization for two consecutive days. It hasn't been much (seven total), but that has not happened in the Acadiana Region since early June. Hopefully, the downward trend continues.
