The Trump team has changed some things up in the past two weeks. That would be a sign that they have some concern (and convinced Trump). They should have figured out a while back that turn out on both sides will be high and that he already has his base won ... and they better focus on where they can change minds. This change closely coincides with his Nascar tweet. That didn't change anybody's mind, only hurt - doesn't matter if it was the truth. They have to win the battle - including in the media - that schools have to open. Need to win the battle on people wearing masks - if people didn't notice that switch in the Trump camp they are blind - they know there is a direct link between the Virus not getting worse in the Sept Oct timeframe and the economic stats in those two months.

It is not over, but it is also not the lock he had in Feb 2020, before the virus hit. He has to soundly win the debates, have the virus not getting worse Sept.Oct, and the economic news to be good in Sept Oct. Otherwise, we could be headed for 4 years of stagnation, or disaster.
