Everything in reading is saying asymptomatic people very rarely spread it.

The reality is that too most people, this is equivalent to a cold or sinus infection in the symptoms they experience. And they are treating it as such by going about daily lives.

There is a difference between being truly asymptomatic...as in having NO symptoms at all to only having minor symptoms (which means you are still symptomatic, even if those symptoms are minor).

And then there is pre-symptoms. The time period before you actually do develop symptoms where you are still infectious and could be spreading it unknowingly to others.
