In money games, the rules must be established and overtly agreed to before the match. It saves time, arguments, and friendships. If you play it as it lies, a bump is a stroke.

You may be correct, though. Bumping can be habit forming, and he may do it occasionally without thinking. Having said that, I would be aghast if I had done so unconsciously and would want to be called out immediately, rather than after a round.

However, if he does this regularly and is not apologetic or embarrassed, it is a character flaw. You find out a lot about an individual’s character from the way he carries himself on the golf course. Money generally brings out the worst and best in people.

It's not a money thing for him, like I said he is loaded.

It's his ego that drive him to do this, I believe now.

Every game, we say play it down and if there is an issue like a root, we will give him relief, nobody wants to get hurt.

We play tomorrow at 7:30am.

We shall see.
