You obviously didn’t vote for SG but you are absolute in your belief that you know why myself and others supported it. For me it was about dollars. Property values protecting my hard earned dollars.

Try and argue against the fact that the growing areas of the metro areas have the best public schools. Families with young kids face investing in private schools or bricks and mortar in better districts. With less people looking to buy values tumble. Look at Sherwood Forest.

I’m worried about my investment while my son is moving to Zachary.

This would have never happened if they would have fixed the damn schools.

If you want to talk about misleading or flat out lying. The entire run up to the election, SWB and others told us how our taxes were going to rise. After the election we find out there will be a forty million surplus. I guess that money is the piggy bank for the rest of the parish.

Invest all you want but the creation of St. George literally does nothing (legally speaking) to help form a new school district.

Incorrect. It wasn't a serious effort to reform the schools. They used you to get the incorporation just like they used us to get their land developed by BREC and pulled the bill once BREC bought the right person's land.

I'm hoping for the best but it doesn't seem realistic to me.

I think Zachary school systems will go in a nose-dive within 10 years.
