Would you recommend them? How much wifi data do they eat up per month?
battery life?

I've had 2 blink cameras for over a year now and I love them. They are easy to setup and no monthly costs for video storage. They take decent video and I have been able to use the 2 way talk feature from my phone on several occasions. It has a scheduling feature that you can turn on an off as needed so that the camera doesn't record and eat up battery when you are at home on Saturday all day going in an out of the house. But if you want you can just leave it armed all of the time. I still have my original AA batteries Amazon gave me when I put them up about a year ago. I've never really looked at the wifi usage but it has to be minimal.
I'm sure there are better cameras with better options, but considering no monthly fee for storing video vs the other options I recommend them.
ETA: You have options to store video for 3, 7, 14, 30 days, or 1 year. There is a size limit but I have mine set to 30 days and I haven't gone above 50% yet.

They're pretty good. I have a couple of the XT2 models as well and I've been pleased. Not really much of a wifi hit but you do have a little plug in device that has to be within range of the cameras.

Not much data. Negligible amount. I’ve got two. They just turned on auto scheduling feature.
They are great for piece of mind.

Really easy set up. Battery life is long. I got 3 over a year ago and have only changed the front of the house one twice as we pull in and out of the drive way. The side of the house and back of the house I’ve never changed the batteries.
