Last week, SEC presidents and chancellors voted to allow voluntary in-person athletic activities on campus beginning on June 8. These activities must be supervised and comply with safety guidelines created by each institution.

The virus is going to run rampant across the country, period. There's no hiding from it. It's an inevitability. This virus is going to exist in human society now like any other of the hundreds of viruses we already deal with.

I mean, this sounds about right. That’s roughly 5% of the team.
Nationwide, we’re at, what, 1% with a positive test? If you tested everyone, we’d be at at least 5% of the population with a confirmed cases.
What would be surprising is if nobody on a team tested positive.
