Fewer people are riding motorcycles, and younger people aren't receptive to biker culture. People are also ultra risk averse now which will continue to grow.

I think most younger folks view loud beastly bikes as ostentatious.

I think the bolded part is the main issue today. I mean I would love to have a bike. But most likely never will because I know it's not if you crash but when. And I know many many people feel the same way.
