Can you edit your playbooks to play online? cause i was playing against someone who had clemson and they had a formation where one of their running backs was in the QB spot and would just kill me but i looked online for the formation and couldnt find it.

he probably inserted the running back as his QB for that formation. I do that all the time. I use Trindon Holliday as my QB in the Ace set with keiland at RB. I only run option out of that set so I never have to throw with trindon. Its unstopable

just go to depth chart from the main munu or from the pause menu in game, highlight your starting QB, press X, the scroll down all your choices. You can usually put WR's, DB's, RB's ect as you QB. Once you find who you want to sub in, just press X again. you can substitute them for all formations or just the ones you choose. then your good to go.
