I get that Herman was the guy that championed getting Burrow an offer at OSU, but Burrow still benefitted a ton by learning under Meyer. Herman never even actually coached him, as he left for Houston before Joe got to campus. And Meyer honored the offer.

Joe then got to learn under one of the best QB gurus in CFB history for three years. To pretend like that wasn’t a major contributor to his success is silly.


Meyer works for Fox, and they made a graphic showing that he coached the top three picks of the draft, which is pretty damn cool and worthy of noting imo.


Sure, they could have put Joe in his LSU uniform, but they put the image of him in OSU because that’s where Meyer coached him.

Putting him in the LSU uniform would have actually seemed more like they were trying to give him credit for what he accomplished here honestly. I don’t think they were doing that at all though.
