Hopefully they will let you in when they confirm the membranes are ruptured and she is committed to labor (could be different if she is <34 weeks and has a Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes (PPROM) situation where either she is not in labor, or will not be induced for a while, ie once she is >34 weeks of shows signs of labor, infection or fetal compromise).

In my hospital system, one support person is allowed once it is established that the patient is in labor or has a condition necessitating delivery. They are not letting in support persons until evaluation is complete.

That would have been great information other than telling me I need to go sit in the parking lot as they were taking her back.
