I have a high school junior. I can’t say she and her friends have never done anything that’s made me roll my eyes at them, but it’s all normal, harmless teenage stuff. Overall, though, they really do give me a lot of hope for the future — suffice it to say that if I listed everything I could about them I believe even the OT would grudgingly admit that they’re decent, respectable human beings. You just don’t hear about kids like them because they spend their time on school, work, athletics, and community service instead of trying to get “famous” through acts of utter worthlessness and stupidity.

Also ftr, when my kid heard about this story she was initially confused, then shocked and disgusted as it sank in. She said she would much rather keep the boomers and rid the world of the idiots in these videos than the other way around.
