If we go by the definition of socialism which is "the means, production and distribution of a society is owned collectively" it should be 0%. You owned a business, you spent countless hours learning about your product, working out the details and leadership skills and learned how to deal with the banks and manage the money. You should rightfully keep what profits you earned, are you going to divide thousands of dollars equally to the cashiers or stockers or to the rest of society? If we are talking about Democratic socialism 0%. The United Nations expects Sweden to be on par with your average third world country by 2030. Bernie is the soul of socialism fake, phony and a poser. He speaks passionately about the poor but buys three homes and has millions, passionately speaks of injustice but endorsed the woman who robbed his candidacy and supports things like the Federal Reserve, the TPP and wars abroad. All establishment policies. Compassion is when you devote your own time and money to the poor and needy, not trying to rob others via the government.

But in some ways Socialism is like food. It is an absolute requirement for a healthy system. Eat too little and things wither away and become weak. Eat too much and the system becomes bloated, sick and unhealthy.

The question is not “is socialism good/bad?”It’s how much do we need and what kind. Like all things....Balance.
