Going to be tough to sell tickets that are more expensive than the old ballpark to watch a losing team. Living in DFW I'm excited to go see some games, but waiting for reality to set in and ticket prices to drop

I’m hoping that people just go in the summer. I’ve had season tickets for forever and I went to like 10% of my Sunday games over the last few years because of the heat and those games were usually pretty bare in regards to attendance.

I’ve heard a lot of people claim that they would go more if it was indoors, so I’m hoping people follow up on that.

Yeah it's been tough to go to any afternoon games due to the heat. Hopefully they field a competitive team that's fun to watch.

because of the heat

I've heard from several people that the old stadium was seriously hot in summer compared to other parks, and that it was enough of a complaint to use in their pitch to the city for help building the new one.

The old one had some real charm though.
