Who are we pulling for in this shithole?
Should we pull for heavy casualties on both sides?

The Turkish response is here.
Two SAMs were launched at a Russian Su-24 from a Turkish outpost. The Russian aircraft eluded the missiles.
Later that day the Russians targeted the outpost in an air strike, killing two Turkish soldiers.
The Turks have moved more hardware into Idlib, and provided yet more of it to the rebels. The rebels for their part have attacked Syrian positions several times, backed by Turkish artillery, but they’ve made no progress.
The Syrians claim to have inflicted heavy casualties on the rebels. But there’s no way to substantiate that claim.
Erdogan has threatened a general invasion of Idlib, and we have seen the Turks withdraw some of their forces from NE Syria. That may be a redeployment, or they may be moving them out of harms way.
