Dunham is a really good baseball player. Their stats last year were similar offensively to LSU's, except that IU had better power numbers. The good news is that alot of IU's power left. The bad news is that LSU lost its top 3 hitters. I think offense is a push.
Their pitching staff was superior to LSU's last year, on paper. I believe that SEC comp speaks for itself, though. IU lost most of its staff. With all due respect to the guys that left, LSU is a much better staff than they were last year. LSU has a big advantage on the mound.
The series is in Baton Rouge. I expect a sweep, but 2/3 is solid. We know PM likes to tinker with lineups, so 1 putrid offensive showing is certainly possible if he whiffs. 4 runs in any game should win.
