Because Moore won’t be on the ballot in November. Even if by some wacky chance that he is, he actually has a better shot at winning this time because it’s a General Election. The 2017 Special Election was a perfect shite storm that simply won’t be replicated. Even if the scandal hadn’t dropped, Moore would’ve most likely underperformed in that race because he had a history of doing that in General Elections. Don’t think people really grasp how awful of a candidate Roy Moore is.
