I think you are giving Americans too much credit. A small percentage of the voters actually watched the shitstorm and a smaller percentage were swayed by what they saw on tv (assuming that they watched). Most had their minds made up before it started. Very few were changed. Most are relying on their tv "news" to tell them what to think. Not many people switched from MSNBC to OANN because of this.
