Radio announcer/DJ
I won't lie - i thought of doing this when I was in high school. I enjoyed the dj's of 106.7 and 97.9 in the late 90s. Went to the KKND studios to pick up some concert tickets I had won and met Sig, told him I was heading to school and was considering going into the broadcasting field and he set the record straight of how little he made. I was shocked that they were basically minimum wage for a fairly popular station.

For the announcers the money comes from remotes. I made $25/hour normally and $50-75 if requested.
And that's pretty pathetic.
Unless you're Stern, Limbaugh, Rick Dees, Scott Shannon, etc. you don't make much. Syndication is absolutely essential to making anything.
