Being prepared for a month without electricity doesn't make you a doomsday prepper. The preppers take it to another level entirely.

My experience with preppers is typically laced with logical fallacies they seem to wilfully ignore, but they don't bother me.

Having a hurricane kit ready is normal down this way and a rather well thought out one at that with logistical and monetary resources at hand even having a satalite phone could be justified.

In an armageddon type secenero I guess we would have to blow up The causeway and survive on fish and mangos like the homeless do here now...
