That's why the NFL hasn't done it. They can sit back, watch these experiments play out, and still benefit (if it does) and have zero skin in the game.

As much as fans love sports and wish seasons didn't end, there is fatigue and I think that's one of the biggest problems. They couldn't compete with the NFL or big college games if it were on at the same time.

Amen! This is one of the best seasons in LSU history and I'm still getting burned out on football!
