Clemson vs LSU (Vegas Discussion Only)

Most of you (who i chat with) on here know I live in Vegas and I hope this can be a discussion of informative details of point spread development...I would lay 1-9 this will take a turn horribly at some point lol
Anyway, I played a heavy bet on LSU at -11, 11.5 and -12 when the game opened vs OU. Basically, I didn't think there was any chance that Hurts could keep pace with Burrow and OU ONLY had 1 way to play.
However, Clemson is a different animal. Etienne is a monster and they might be able to use TL to milk out a few first downs, extend drives and basically keep Burrow off the field. I can't see any reason that Clemson or Dabo is arrogant enough to try and score with LSU right now.
Clemson weaknesses: OL Tackles...If you go back and watch the Ohio State game, OSU was able to use Young to tie up guards (which are very good for Clemson) and leave some 1-1 matchups and OSU blew up Clemson for the most part I think Chaisson, Divinity (if he is in form) and some other skill set rushers could have a big game. #73 Anchrum is a weakness in pass protection imo Big edge LSU
Clemson Strength: Secondary and Tackling Watch some film on these guys and although they may not be "dead cover corners" they are NEVER out of position. They DON'T miss tackles. I do think MUSE could be exploited with our athleticism, but in general, I don't think we will make a bunch of big plays on them especially early.
X-Factor: Isaiah Simmons is special. He would be our favorite player is he played for LSU. Just an awesome football player. Not as explosive as the honey badger was, but this dude is a baller and we need to stay away from his arse
I have tons of other details we can discuss, but these key factors lead me to REALLY like the UNDER here and I think you will see this total plummet on Monday. I bought in at 69.5 and there are still some of the Numbers available.
My only scare here is that this becomes one of those (defenses are gassed ion the 4th quarter) and it turns into a shootout. So i also played UNDER1st half 35 for the same amount.
I am leaning Clemson +6. Note 75% of the $ on LSU and 85% of the tickets. Those numbers are a bad sign for LSU backers!!!
Summary:
UNDER 69.5
1st HALF UNDER 35
Love some feedback if you care to!

IF Clemson cannot run with consistency, may God bless their souls. if clemson can run, it will be close.
simple as that.

I guess we'll see. I like the odds of LSU scheming away from him

How does that compare to the OU game?

LAZY Do you just think LSU shuts Clemson down completely? Love to hear your thoughts on score? and Game flow.
Obviously, I can see LSU just simply being unstoppable force. But I almost KNOW that Clemson is going to try and play ball control and NOT turn the ball over!

Clemson doesn’t have the DBs to cover Marshall, Chase, and Jefferson. Take away one and someone else will murder you (see: OU game)

OU had a pretty dynamic offense all year. How'd that work out for them?

Lunchbox-
TONS of $ came in LATE on OU but that was simply based on the number and NOT really and handicapping standpoint.
In general, if you see a line drop late, it is VALUE bettors wanting the number! If you see LSU go from -6 to like -7.5, you would just simply almost know LSU is the play
That is very generic overview, but you sort of get it.

OU wasnt a TOP 15 team!! Their Defense wasn't Top 50, had 3 starters out and that was a total mismatch.
Clemson would have beaten OU by 40-50 as well.

Their offense certainly was. What happened?

Elleshoe I agree Nobody can cover those guys! DABO knows this too!!! But that doesn't mean we are going to get 14 possessions in the game.
You guys need to watch Etienne run the football, catch it etc just watch the 2nd half of OSU. That cat is freaking awesome!!
I am expecting a ball control offense from Clemson and they have EVERY bit of the firepower to do just that!

Not saying I have any great reasoning for my bets. Think LSU will be able to put up their lot of points, but the game starts slow for both teams.

LOL me You and OU knew this game was over in the first 3 possessions of the game! For anyone to compare OU game to the upcoming game is either ignorant and just a blind LSU fan.
That would be like me wondering why OM ran for 400 yards on us.
You cant do that in gambling my man! Every game is on it own merit!

If Clemson plays ball control and LSU is scoring on just about every possession it’s going to be a blow out.

I'm going to assume you;'re talking to me. And I'm going to ask you for a better explanation of why we could shut down one great offense but it's crazy to think we could do it to another one.

Ohio State forced 7 punts from Clemson. LSU's D is easily as good as Ohio St's. (And LSU punted once against Oklahoma)
You can't give the ball to Burrow & company 7 damn times without scoring. No way.
Gonna get ugly for the Clemps in Nola.

I don't see how they slow down LSU either!
BUT OU only had 1 way to play. Clemson is a complete team, no matter what anyone on here thinks.
LSU might just have too much firepower. But I KNOW Clemson will not miss tackles, they will be in the best postions to defend etc.
I see this game 37-28

When a game is out of control early, you quit playing (human nature) Same reaosn i hate when people bring up OM rushing for OVER 400 yards on LSU That game was NEVER in doubt and LSU could give a rip
Thats all.
OU did put up 28 points!!
I am on the UNDER so if LSU blows out Clemson early, my UNDER is dead!!!!
Which is why I am asking for opinions here. I just think the Clemson weakness is their OLINE Ohio State was wrecking that OL
