The one streamer I watched playing this almost gave up around the 8 hour mark. He pushed through that moment and ended up loving the game. I think the character arc starts you off disliking the main character but once the story starts to open up and you gain enough new skills, the game becomes fun. I've got it but haven't gotten around to it yet.
