Agreed, - I mean by leaving a spot open on NSD, for Costello or another Grad Transfer QB...

Agreed, again...

As a back-up, he only has to get us through the remainder of the season without getting hurt, provided Brennan starts and goes down at some point...LSU may be willing to take the risk, if Costello is willing to take a chance competing for the starter position...

but, regardless, I don't see Costello coming to LSU, even if the staff recruits him hard...but, its a possibility that Costello would take the chance if no other top program wants to take a risk (as you pointed out) due to his injury history...that's why I think there is a significant chance of both him coming to LSU and LSU recruiting him...at least at this point in time...
