One graduated and left after spring practice. The other quit on his team in the middle of the season. How are they even close to the same situation?

Houston was 1-3 and King wanted to maintain his eligibility for another season. They clearly werent going anywhere even with him and honestly it was probably better for Houston to be able to break in a different QB who is younger and will be with the program for more years. So King got what he wanted which was a chance to play for a winning school and Houston got to develop a younger QB and prepare for the future. I dont see what the problem is.

I guess you don't know that the coach quit on the team. Yep, that's right the f'ing coach threw the season. Why should a QB stick around for an idiot drunk that would do that?

Houston loses days after former player accuses coach of trying to ‘actively tank’

“Coach left practice that day stating, ‘If you’re not 100% committed to the team then don’t get on the bus,’” Murphy tweeted. “Ironic in light of recent events.”

LA Times - How Houston coach Dana Holgorsen used redshirts to tank in college football

24/7 - Houston, Dana Holgorsen pushing redshirt rule to the limit

In most cases a long in-season absence would be due to an injury. But this is not a normal campaign in Houston. Car, an expected major contributor in the backfield, is one of three Houston players redshirting their senior seasons after playing in multiple games.

It’s part of what’s been a borderline roguish experiment by first-year head coach Dana Holgorsen. The highlight member of this trio, quarterback D’Eriq King, stood on the sideline all evening watching Car run. His fellow senior, wide receiver Keith Corbin, did much the same. Playing in his third game this season, Car rushed for a game-high 136 yards on 18 carries.

Ex-Houston OL says Dana Holgorsen asked seniors to redshirt after poor start

Don't run your mouth when you don't know shite about what you are babbling about.
