I truly believe Saints DBs are afraid of contact

Our DBs whiff more than any group in the league.

Look at Marcus Williams on the screen. Circled backwards about 5 times to avoid having to be touched by blockers.

Easy to game plan against us. Just throw to the TE every down. We apparently can’t cover them.

I can tell you exactly what that is because I've been seeing it for a few years now.

They're terrified to be aggressive. They're afraid to commit too hard, engage and shed the blocker and make the tackle because they're afraid they're going to be out of position.

They don't trust the tacklers behind and around them.

A defense that doesn't play with their hair on fire is a timid defense that gets burned.

It’s not giving up a touchdown. It’s the ease at which the other team scored that touchdown that’s the concern.
