And in typical Kennedy tradition he wasn’t qualified for shite but put in the driver’s seat. I love how his little sister had a similar opportunity to be a Senator but would only accept if she didn’t have to compete for the job. frick those assholes.

I remembered fearing they'd dominate politics given how they bred like rabbits but their follow on generations were awash in mediocrity. Hell, the last part of JFK's generation was below mediocrity.
The crooked old man basically bought the presidency with money off the scotch whiskey trade. I think it was scotch.
