Out of my .35 Whelen I didn't care for them. Almost no blood trail. I'm betting because it is such a weight retention/deep penetrating round that out of a .35 Whelen is probably better suited for Elk. They just seemed to punch a hole in the few deer I shot with them.
I bet they would be awesome in smaller rounds like the .243/7-08 etc.
