True story. When I was in the service we'd almost all purposefully make sure to be indoors or in our cars when the anthem played. That stopping and saluting shite is really a hassle, but we honestly didn't know we were disrespecting each other. Now I wish a civilian would have told us.

One thing this protest did for sure though. People now make sure to stand up at games and put their hands over their hearts when the anthem plays. Can't seem like a hypocrite. Ya know?
I'm calling it a patriotic false flag operation.

One time I was at a game and I had a ton of BBQ at the tailgate
I get in and felt a rumble in my stomach. Sprint to the bathroom and had to dump, during that time the anthem is going on, i made sure to stand and put my hand over my heart while shite slid from my arse as I stood up
