Teams that absolutely control their own destiny

LSU, Ohio St, Clemson

Teams that most likely control their own destiny

Georgia

Teams that must win out, and get help to have a chance

Bama, Utah, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Baylor

Changes after week 11:

- Auburn removed off dark horse list
- Minnesota/Baylor bumped down to teams that must win out, and get help.
- Michigan and Wisconsin added to dark horse list.

Changes after week 12:

- Oregon moves off the list to dark horse candidate.
- Penn St off the list to dark horse candidate.

I'll keep this updated as the weeks progress. It's awesome to be back in the hunt.

I would say they absolutely control their own destiny.

I don’t understand why they lump Oregon in the same category as Bama. If Oregon wins out, they will have beaten top ten ranked Utah in the conference championship game, and be the winner of 12 straight games. It’s laughable to think that Bama deserves to mentioned in the same sentence with them.

If Minnesota wins out, they'll be in. That's not up for debate. That'll have them with a win over Penn State and Ohio State, a Big 10 title, and an undefeated season.

ZERO chance that would be left out.

I’d say Minnesota absolutely controls their own destiny, Baylor too

Minnesota absolutely controls its own destiny if Ohio State does. Baylor I think is rightly placed, but is closer to "absolute control" than "win out and get help" relative to Georgia and Penn State.

Why would you assume that UGA doesn’t control their own destiny?

They control their own destinies as well. If Penn St or Minnesota win out, they push Ohio St out. Undefeated Baylor ranked top four. One loss SEC champ will always be in the top 4 unless there are four undefeated power 5 conference champs

There is NO CONCEIVABLE scenario where UGA wins out and does not make the Playoffs.

For the umpteenth time.
