Everything about this game is rushed and it clearly shows. It’s basically slightly better graphics than Sun and Moon. The postgame might be the worst of any of the games. I actually enjoyed X and Y but they dropped mega evolution which was the best idea they’ve come up with. The best two Pokémon games are Soul Silver and Black 2.

Well, technically they dropped megas and Z-moves but re-added them in the form of dynamaxing and gigamaxing, which are the same but with slight variations. But yeah, would've made more sense to just add more megas at that point.
