you aren't wrong, but you aren't right either. yes much of it is injury, person, and rehab dependent, but you also have certain procedures that put patient's at higher risks for future issues regardless of who you are or how you rehab
if its a repair, you're essentially restoring the meniscus back to it's original form. and that will protect the joint space
if it's a trim, you have less meniscus to cushion that joint. that will lead to joint space narrowing. which leads to bone rubbing against bone which will lead to arthritis. could arthritis be avoided? sure. does this procedure put Zion at a higher risk? yes
