I don’t think he will be charged with attempted murder, but to act like it’s totally out of play is asinine

He's not going to get attempted murder charges. That is absurd.

He will get some really bad charges and could definitely spend some time in jail, but this was not attempted murder. The intent was not to murder someone.

He's fricked though.

thank you, it's clear several people here don't understand what constitutes as attempted murder

I’ve had the misfortune of knowing this punk for years, and can shed a little more light on some things.
First and foremost he’s 100% responsible for his actions and I’d never make an excuse for him and believe the best place for someone like him is jail. That said with the parenting he had his actions aren’t a surprise. He and his younger brother were pawned off on their grandparents most of the time due to lazy, self absorbed parents. His dad and grandfather Breaux are the definition of bi polar. Dad is pushing 40 trying to live off of high school football glory while waiting tables at Cochons in Lafayette.

Previous posters have it right on how it went down, trying to get someone to take a bottle of Gatorade after practice with drano in it and also another kid sitting in some that was spilled and getting burnt also.

Bullying has been brought up. I guess you can say he was bullied but I’ll tell you why. They had to take a piss test last year at stm. He knew he was dirty and had someone pee in a cup for him which Peyton turned in a few hours later, cold. When called in, he ratted out the kid who pissed for him. Since then he’s had his locker pissed on and in by his teammates, can’t say I blame them. What wasn’t talked about was him beating up some small kid at a house party. Luckily the kid had a friend who knocked Peyton out a few weeks later with one punch at another party.

The expulsion from the faulty test is why he was sent to Oak Hill, not to play b-ball. Although a decent player for stm, he couldn’t sniff the court nor make any of the 3 teams at oak hill. He did join the soccer team so he could get cell phone privileges. After a few months of crying, they brought him home and welcomed him with a Jeep.

He’s had almost 18 years of parents and grandparents telling him he’s a sports superstar while never holding him accountable. Some people have alluded to being able to buy his way out of trouble. The grandparents from his moms side have blown through an inheritance his step grandfather got from acadiana bottling so they don’t have the means anymore.

That’s all a long winded way of saying he’s an evil little punk. I know family members that would cringe when they would show up to family functions and are rejoicing behind his parents/grandparents back that he’s finally going to be held accountable.

Luckily for the world his mom is about to have another baby with her second husband.
