Mathis seems to get at least one hit in every scrimmage. How's he looking in the field?

I think Mathis will find his way into the starting line up. I have only seen one practice but he looked good in the field. I also noticed little things like he hustles. Coach gave him a high five after batting practice session. Coach and him in serious conversation in the dugout. He is a JC transfer. My guess would be 2B.
