Well, I know that when I talk about my trips, I tend to have in-depth discussions on my airport experiences. I mean, it's practically the focal point of the trip. That, hopefully brief, time in the airport just means so much to the traveler.

Tourist: The view was spectacular and there were so many restaurants. AND I got some [INSERT REGIONAL FOOD/ITEM] in the gift shop. What a great trip!

Friend: What else did you do? Did you go downtown?

Tourist: Hey, let's focus on what's important. The airport was amazing.

4) Everything to do with interstate access is a state issue. Perhaps if ya boy Bobby Jindal was actually serving as governor in his second term, instead of running for president, he could have handled this. I guess that was asking for too much.

Bobby Jindal has many faults, but I'm not sure he should take all the blame for this one.

I mean, Jindal's last day as governor was January 11, 2016. The groundbreaking ceremony for the new airport was January 14, 2016.
