Herein lies one of primary issues with preseason polls. What are we ranking these teams on? Their overall quality as a team? Where it is believed that team will finish the season?

I've never understood that. Ranking someone not as good because they're schedule to the championship is harder is the stupidest shite I've ever heard of in my life. hey your team is loaded but your schedule is really hard to get there so let's make it even harder for you by ranking you worse..or your schedules really easy let's put you at number one since it's easy for you to get there let's make it even easier. Okay someones schedule is easy someone's is hard. who gives a shite. has literally zero to do with the ranking in fact that's the opposite of what they should do.. why would you help a team with an easier schedule and hurt a team with a harder schedule?????? the fact that this existed means people thought this made sense, that had important jobs. Wtf
