I am very close to a few board members at a few colleges in the country “Clemson & Texas” are two of them! I told people that a board member had told me flat out that no matter what LSU offered it would never be enough! Their new AD had been given an open checkbook with any number “needed” to sign Herman. The “needed” meaning they knew who their only competition was and knew LSU could only offer so much and whatever that number was UT could outbid it. Anyway he guaranteed that LSU would not sign Herman and he was right. Now people said on my post after the fact, that everyone knew that! Maybe so but I was the first person on this board to put my name behind it on this site before it went down.

Why I mention that is my buddy at Clemson has flat out stated numerous times when we are drinking together that Clemson cheats and their system is so full proof that they have been able to outbid others without fear of being caught, unless one of the players speak up. He bragged “lol” about how Clemson was steeped in a long history of cheating scandals and was proud of it. He said all those failures and getting caught actually made them better at cheating because they needed to hide it better. They go by, you gotta cheat if you want to compete, philosophy there he said!

I know I believe him!

And NO he hasn’t told me their system yet but every time I get him drunk I ask him and I won’t stop until he finally tells me!
