That’s the area. Not sure exactly where though. And yes the road is already a levee keeping Manchac from going into Spanish Lake and the swamp around it.
Bayou Manchac is kinda weird in that it is actually higher in the middle than it is near the Mississippi and the Amite. Its natural behavior was screwed up when it was cut off from the Mississippi. Ascension and Iberville have to use pumps to help water flow out sometimes.

His line may be pretty accurate. I know the dam will be placed near the structure on Alligator Bayou Road, but I don't know how long it runs or exactly how tall the aqua dam is that Iberville purchased. They make a lot of different sizes.
