Because Todd was a pro from the early 90s.
Bracelet winner. Father son winners. That is talked about. Has been on tv many times in big events. Like Poker Stars, Against Chan and the magician.
That was back in mid aughts.
And is co author w dad on super sys 2.
Todd is obviously not as well known as Doyle. But if you follow poker, or did, he isn’t some unknown
Big time cash player. Sat at his table once. Guy is a serious Nit.

Well if I ever knew of him I have totally forgotten. When I saw his name in the "notables" chip count at first I thought it was his dad. Then I remembered Doyle's name.
I remember Hellmuth, Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Moneymaker, Antonio, Scotty Ngyuen, Johnny Tran, Gus Hanson, etc.
I guess all of them were playing during the time that I was gung-ho on poker. I just don't remember a Todd Brunson.
